Personal Description:

A former Jazz Pianist with a Bachelor's degree in Jazz Piano, graduated from the Royal College of Music in Composition (MA). With my current students of all ages and levels, we mainly focus on non-classical genres.

- Which subject(s) do you teach?

I teach Piano / Jazz Improvisation / Theory / Harmony (Analysis of Chord Progressions from J.S. Bach to Radiohead & other contemporary genres), Composition, Music Production and Songwriting to young adults and adults, from beginners to an advanced level including preparations for auditions to Film Music Programmes. I'm very flexible with the way of organising the lessons depending on each student's needs, while maintaining a fun, relaxed atmosphere.

Master of Composition (MComp) in Composition for Screen - Royal College of Music (as a Soirée d'Or Scholar supported by a Clifton Parker Award)

I'm travelling to students as well as teaching Online Sessions through Zoom & Skype.

Children and adults, all levels from beginners to an advanced level.

Tutoring Experience:

A year-long methodological teaching course during Bachelor's Study at the Conservatory of Amsterdam in addition to private tutoring many students with wide variety of backgrounds from classical to electronic / alternative rock music.

Tutoring Approach:

Priorities are always and always the specific needs / goals of each student while keeping the sessions fun and relaxed regardless of the level of the student. There is always an easy, step by step approach to any musical subject. - jazz playing or harmonic understanding of any tune across any genre.
