I grew up in a home where music was always very important as my mother was a professional pianist. I began playing the piano when I was four. At the age of seven, I enrolled in a Music Academy, where I trained as a classical pianist for 8 years. This included studying music theory, performance, composition, history and technology. Throughout the years, I participated in national competitions and performed at concerts, festivals, showcases and recitals.
In 2009, I started teaching piano and music theory to students in the UK, giving lessons at home and in a music school.
In 2016, I started teaching in my home studio in Coventry.
I believe piano lessons can be fun and joyful for all. I teach students of all ages and abilities on a one-to-one basis. To maximise the learning experience, each taught lesson is tailored to best reach you or your child. This is important as everyone has their own most effective way of learning.
Taking grades: I teach in line with the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) syllabus Grades 1 to 8. I prepare pupils for ABRSM practical and theory exams. Lessons will include practical piano playing, music theory, learning scales, sight reading and listening tests.
To date, I have a 100% pass rate on all graded exams.
30 minute lessons are encouraged, especially for younger students (£16 per 30 min).
I offer both face to face lessons as well as virtual lessons via Skype.
