Information About Emre - Highgate teacher

Personal Description:

I am Emre from Turkey, graduated from Royal Academy of Music (MA, DipRAM) in 2014. Have been playing the guitar for 20 years now and have done many concerts and competitions all around the world. Along the way, I had the chance to study with some of the greatest guitar tutors and performers such as; Alirio Diaz, Ahmet Kanneci, David Russell, Michael Lewin and many others. I have moved to London 4 months ago and settled in Enfield (North) London.

Tutoring Experience:

I had a lot of students from all levels/ages (beginner to advanced) from all around the world. I have thought the ABRSM, Trinity/Guildhall and RGT Acoustic Syllabus and had many casual students as well.

Tutoring Approach:

The most important aspect of a teacher is to discover every student individually. There is no teaching method or system which can be thought to every student. Every individual have their own characteristics and way of understanding. My main focus is to discover those qualities from the beginning… Every student must be treated with respect no matter what age or level they are while we are having fun learning new things every lesson. There are some very important "keys" that I have been given during the 20 years of learning/teaching and performing and learning an instrument is all about those keys that we collect to open new doors to new levels. I am more then willing to share them with you.

Music is all about sharing, opening portals to old and new era's… Music is fun and is a very intimate and secretive friend of yours. Guitar, as one of the most beautiful instruments can be your best friend if you let it be. I will be your guide to discover it yourself.
