Information About Emma - Barnet teacher

Personal Description:

Having studied both classical singing to grade 8 and then gaining a 1st class hons. degree in vocal performance, I have a well rounded knowledge of all areas required for singing healthily and happily. I have a large passion for helping develop my students' confidence in singing and I love passing all and every bit of knowledge that I've gained from the industry onto my pupils.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been teaching privately for a number of years and even through the pandemic took to remote teaching! I'm very happy now however that I can properly work with my students rather than over WiFi.

Tutoring Approach:

I first and foremost focus solely on enjoyment and confidence. If you aren't enjoying what you're doing/ the rep you're working on then the learning will never be as effective. For casual learners I tend to steer away from the in-depth technicalities/ scientific terms and rather focus on how things feel in order to improve. For those who are beginning or are already at an intermediate level, I incorporate this information in a way that is accessible and useful in improving technique, stamina and confidence.
