Personal Description:
I teach classical piano and music theory, as well as support with music GCSEs and A-levels. I have a masters degree in piano performance and an ABRSM Diploma in Instrumental Teaching.
Tutoring Experience:
I have taught piano to all age groups and abilities, ranging from ages 4 to 65 years and beyond. I have successfully taken students through their exams, up to and including ABRSM Grade 8 piano and ABRSM Grade 5 Theory.
Tutoring Approach:
I have a holistic approach to teaching which is responsive to each student's learning style and goals. I particularly enjoy working with children and adults who might have faced challenges in traditional learning environments, and students who didn't have a chance to learn an instrument at school.
