Personal Description:

I am a british violinist from Brighton. I was honoured to study with Yossi Zivoni and I continued my studies as a scholarship holder at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama with Krzysztof Smietana. As a soloist I have been invited to play masterclasses with Boris Belkin, Mauricio , Kurt Nikkanen and Yair Kless, and hold a number of awards including the Coro Nuovo Musician of the Year and Westdene Scholarship. I have performed with a number of the uk's major orchestras including the Halle, BBC Philharmonic, London Mozart Players, and Manchester Camerata.

Chamber music is an incredibly important part of my musical life. I have played with the Larisa Trio for five years and play as part of the Arva Quartet. My most recent chamber music performances include recitals as part of the Residart Festival in Italy and Orlando Festival in Holland with the Larisa Trio, and recitals in St Pancras Clock Tower and Central Hall Westminster with the Arva Quartet.

Music outreach is at the heart of everything I do and I always make sure to prioritise the students I teach, whether that be in the setting of private teaching, community workshops, or orchestral and chamber music tuition.

Tutoring Experience:

I have a class of violin students in London that I work with one to one. I have a great deal of experience teaching both children and adults privately, and in orchestral and chamber music settings. I have tutored my students to a high level for 8 years, and strongly believe in my each of one my pupil's ability and musical potential.

Tutoring Approach:

I have always ensured that teaching plays a central role in my work as a violinist, having had the enormous privilege of studying with some incredible tutors in my 18 years as a violinist. I really want to give back to my students and guide them in their own musical journey.
