Personal Description:

Working in London for the last 14 years as a creative and performer, predominately on stage but also underscoring/writing for film. I been playing for over 20 years and have a real passion for the piano and composing/writing music. I have excellent people skills and develop solid relationships with my students.

Tutoring Experience:

2010 - Present.
Private tutor.
Teach workshops to very young children twice weekly.
Grades 1-8 (ABRSM predominantly).
Bespoke lesson plans for chord/lead sheet, ear training and those who can't read music.

Tutoring Approach:

I think we all have an inherent skill in music and engaging with that is the best way to learn. I have a wide understanding of the instrument and would be happy to teach those who wish to improve their technique, take grades or just need a point in the right direction.

I have students from 4 - 75 years old. There is never a bad time to learn an instrument! Younger students tend to follow grades but most of my older students just want to improve, keep their minds sharp and have fun!

I charge £30 for 30 minutes, £55 for an hour. There is a travel surcharge for those outside my 'locals' range if lessons are only 30 mins. Hour long lessons do not incur a surcharge. Happy to double up if teaching 2 or more at the same address.

Online lessons are £20 per 30 minutes.
