Personal Description:
I’ve been playing piano and teaching professionally since 1991. I have Grade 8 piano and music theory and studied jazz and popular music at Berklee College of Music, Boston, MA. I also have a Diploma in Music Education from Rockschool. I normally teach at my home, or your home if you live in Abingdon. I also teach online, using Facetime or Skype.
Tutoring Experience:
Since 1991; beginners to Grade V classical or jazz, or popular music / just for enjoyment. Also teach keyboard.

From Priya (/5): Unfortunately we wont get the chance to meet Dorothy, after lengthy conversation i paid for details only then to be informed due to covid ( which we are all well awear off ) the session would be online. From the outset it was made clear the lesson is a birthday present and the very first lesson, which was meant to be special. I was disappointed. Im sure Dorothy is a good teacher.
Reply from: Dorothy: I am sorry Priya. The Government was encouraging people to go back to face-to-face, only for the pandemic to then suddenly get a lot worse. Do you want an online lesson? (It is free, even if you don't follow up with subsequent lessons).
Alternatively there may be other tutors who are willing to teach face-to-face and perhaps have more Covid-secure facilities! If you would prefer to do this, I will refund your registration fee.
