Personal Description:

I am currently working as a violin/piano teacher and as a composer of multi-media music such as film, tv and game. I am also a recent graduate from Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been playing violin for 17 years and have completed all grades including advanced certificate to a distinction level. I have taught for about 3 years of varied levels.
Piano, I've been playing less intensely for a similar period of time whilst preferring to focus on film soundtracks and composition as opposed to grades. My level is equivalent to grade 8.

Tutoring Approach:

Learn by example. One of the greatest ways to learn how to perform a piece is to listen to a professional violinist play it. I will give you technical exercises, and scales, but we will focus on the pieces and the sound that we are looking to find in our instrument.
