Tutoring Experience:

Private tuition in London and Tokyo from beginners to advanced players.

'Chance to Play' scheme at Cobham Free School, Surrey

Tutoring Approach:

I have come from the traditional Russian school of violin playing, which is well known for its excellent methods in educating young violinists. I have taken this experience and approach every student uniquely to see where they excel and where they may need more guidance and encouragement. I hope that by doing this, I can try and help them enjoy learning and playing the instrument, as well as appreciating music. I am very patient and use a mixture of simple explanations, imagination and demonstrations of my own playing to achieve this and above all, I want to help the students think for themselves and be self motivating.
