Information About Dewi - Llandeilo teacher

Personal Description:

Guitar playing has been my main passion since I was barely old enough to hold one. I love the instrument. I have been in bands for many years, such as, Trydan, Nag the horse and "Stefan Cush and the feral family" (Stefan Cush is a founder member of the great band "The men they couldn't hang")

Tutoring Experience:

I have been teaching for about five years. I teach all skill levels and ages. I have taught mainly rock guitar

Tutoring Approach:

Even though I acknowledge music theory as an important subject, a lot of guitar teachers are guilty of putting this first.
In my opinion, learning how to actually PLAY the guitar is more important than theory.
There are some pupils (not of mine) that just know how to play scales but lack GUSTO and musicality. This is all a result of music theory being a too high priority.
But at the end of the day, I will happily teach whatever the pupil wants to know. I am also happy to go through Rockschool grades
