Information About David - Lewisham teacher
This is how 2 referees rated David:
I am a vocal graduate from the Royal Academy of Music and Trinity College of Music.
Having studied both Classical and Musical Theatre I have an in depth knowledge of how the voice works from both these angles and the various techniques used in the process.
I have a huge passion in performing music and have been fortunate enough to perform as a singer at several prestigious concert venues including the Royal Albert Hall, Cadogan Hall, Barbican, Royal Festival Hall and the Theatre des Champs-Elysees.
I am a qualified singing teacher with a Licentiate from the Royal Academy of Music. I have taught in both the classical style and the musical theatre of singing and performance. My teaching has been mainly private but have also led a few workshops in voice.
Singing is obviously something very individualised. There are a number of great and interesting things to be learned about the voice; there is not necessarily a 'one rule for all' method and every single voice is completely unique.
For me posture and relaxation is the key to a strong and healthy vocal range. With a healthy body comes a healthy voice.
As well as teaching of the overall techniques I also deliver performance coaching. I am happy to cater for the needs of everyone. If you are a complete beginner or have sung before but looking to improve your voice and widen your range or pursue a career in classical/opera singing or just simply want to enjoy singing, please do get in touch.
