Personal Description:
Fully qualified former concert pianist. Will teach all levels from complete beginner to advanced. All ages and abilities catered for. My Curriculum Vitae is rather extensive and consequently not given here, but it will be made available to anyone who requests it. Introductory discount for the first 5 lessons.
Tutoring Experience:
Over 50 years experience teaching students of all ages and abilities, including adults, from the earliest beginner through to professional.
Tutoring Approach:
Highly professional and with patience and understanding. Lessons are given on a superb Bluthner model 2 Concert Grand piano, with the additional use of a second grand piano for concerto work. There are also full recording facilities available and students are encouraged to make CD recordings of their work. Students are also encouraged to work towards the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music examinations, though I by no means make them compulsory.
