Personal Description:
I am a friendly and relaxed person with a great passion for music - which I love sharing and teaching to others.
I have been playing guitar and piano for about 15 years and producing for 13 years. During my time at The University Surrey I played in a many bands and had lots of assessed recitals.
I am a Producer/DJ/Artist with releases/remix’s on: Domino Recs, Planet Mu, RinseFM, Big Dada. Reviewed in: The Wire, Mixmag, DJ Mag, Fact Magazine. DJ bookings all over Europe. Music played on Radio1/Radio1XTRA, BBC Radio 6.
I am a Music Production Tutor at a school in London. Teaching weekly: Ableton, Logic, Djing and music composition/mixing to a number of beginner/intermediate students of all ages. I help each student to achieve small goal-based courses all the way up to diplomas.
I am also an Applied Music Composer for film, adverts and TV. My music has been used by the likes of Puma and Adidas.
Tutoring Experience:
I have 4 Years experience teaching at 2 Music schools in London: London AMP and HUB16. Helping students obtain diplomas as well as teaching shorter courses.
I have 2 Years teaching remotely and online - with both music production and guitar/piano.
I have taught ages 10 and upwards, all nationalities, backgrounds and abilities.
Tutoring Approach:
I teach music production in any genre in Logic/Ableton/Cubase as well as DJing on CDJ's and Vinyl turntables. I also teach and help develop any style on Guitar and Piano.
My approach is very dependent and lead by the students ability, goals and drive. All of which I am happy to adapt to and to nurture.
Generally I start by assessing the students ability and setting out a plan to which the student can follow to reach their goal(s). I am very confident with the right attitude and practice away from the lessons I can help students achieve their musical dreams!
When purchasing multiple lessons I offer an increasing discount as the block of lessons increases:
5 lessons 10 % discount
10 lessons 15 % discount
20 lessons 20 % discount

He comes prepared with a plan and adopt the sessions on specific development skills to follow-up with homework. I am enjoying the piano sessions with David, because he provides constructive feedback.
I feel like I have already progressed so much in few sessions, and given his qualitative guidance, I am looking forward to learning even more!
