The Flute is a tremendously versatile instrument able to play in a wide variety of genres. Jazz, Classical, R&B , Funk, Folk, even rap yes RAP!!!

Each lesson is tailored to the pupils specific requirements and musical tastes and followed up with a video lesson the next day.

A Great instrument to play along with others. Very little musical knowledge is needed to get going. You can get notes out of the instrument straight away. All the features above. Video lessons, tailored lessons etc apply.

I have been teaching Music for many years and I am a fully qualified secondary school teacher of over 20 years

Tutoring Approach:

I teach modern western Popular Music from the 1920’s to the present day.

I specialise in beginner to intermedia**Contact Detail Removed**ssons geared at getting my pupils playing the music that they like as quickly as possible. I do not focus on theory to begin with as this slows down people new to music and makes it even more difficult to get started.

The 'Shape' method is very successful as there is no musical notation to read.

You will also learn 'How Music works' which is the key to be able to learn songs quickly and play in your own style

The lessons would begin with the pupil giving me a list of their 5 favourite songs and we would start work on one of those straight away.

Your lessons will get your Fingers to start Working and your Ears to start Listening

Play only the Music that you want to play and learn how to get the Most out of your own Piano or Keyboard

Each lesson is geared to your own favourite tunes from the 1920’s to 2023 whatever you like the best you can learn Before the first lesson you will have e mailed me your choice of 3 or 4 of your favorite songs and we will start learning one of these straight away. I produce all learning materials so there will be no music books to buy.

What makes these lessons so unique is that every student is sent a follow up video lesson to reinforce what has been learned in the hour lesson. This means we can cover a lot in that lesson, far more than usual and make much faster progress. Each video is made just for the student covering the only the things they learned in the
