Personal Description:

*Lessons now available over Zoom, to anyone anywhere!*

I'm an enthusiastic guitar teacher, and I enjoy helping people of all ages and abilities with their playing. I've been playing guitar for 22 years, and I regularly perform as a folk guitarist for weddings, and write and record my own music. Currently because of the pandemic I'm only teaching over Zoom calls.

Tutoring Experience:

I taught for 3 years in schools around Herefordshire, privately from home and at students houses. I have been living & teaching in Cardiff for 7 years and am now teaching privately. Since the pandemic all of my teaching moved online to Zoom calls, which I have found works very well.

Tutoring Approach:

I like to find out exactly what the student wants from their guitar lessons, and where they would like to take their playing.
Whether it's a beginner just getting started, a more experienced player looking to learn new songs, techniques or understand more theory, or an advanced player that I may also be able to help, I tailor the lessons to move at a pace that is right for each individual.
I teach using easy to read tablature, chord and fretboard diagrams & standard notation up to an intermedia**Contact Detail Removed**vel.
I specialise in folk guitar and fingerstyle playing.
