Personal Description:

Hi,my name is Dave, I`ve fairly recently moved to the area and would like to start teaching again.I`ve played drum kits and percussion all my life for a long time professionally and latterly semi-pro. I`m currently playing in a couple of local bands one of which is quite popular on the local circuits.I have a practice/recording studio at my home where I keep my drums.I still find it a pleasure to show others what was shown to me together with working on any problems they have.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been taught professionally myself and can read drum music.At my previous address the students were referred to me from The Academy of Music, Guildford.and Weybridge College.Though most came from word of mouth as I was fairly well known on the music scene in Surrey

Tutoring Approach:

I am a great believer in the rudiments as most of what you play starts from there,but feel and imagination is everything in music as well as lots of practice and that`s where I come in.I have experience in teaching Beginners, Intermediate and mentoring advanced.
