Personal Description:
I Graduated with a BMus in Popular Music Performance with a Level 6 Rockschool Teaching Licentiate, I can teach from beginners to advanced players any music genre including (but not limited to) Rock, Funk, Soul, R&B, Disco, Pop, Jazz, and Musical Theatre.
I have been Privately teaching since 2009, my lessons include:
• Bass Techniques (including: Finger Style, Pick Technique, Slap Bass, Tapping, etc.)
• Preparation to Rockschool exams all grades
• Song Learning (including songs you wish to learn!)
• Harmony and Theory
• Aural Skills
• Reading/Writing Music and Sight Reading
• Transcribing
• Basic piano skills (useful for theory and harmony)
• Theory and Practical Use of Effects and Technology with the Instrument (Pedalboard setups, Recording)
• Sound Crafting Workshops
• Use of Musical Software - Sibelius, Logic 9 or 10, iReal Pro, Band in a Box
• Popular music knowledge (Music Genres and representative Acts, listening lists)
Each Lesson is individually reviewed, prepared and tailored to favour the student’s musical progress and aptitudes, keeping in account his music tastes and likes.
