Personal Description:

Hello! My name is Dan , I am a trumpet/cornet teacher, currently living in Larkfield in Kent. I have over 16 years experience in professional music and currently serve in British Army Music as part of the trumpet/cornet section in the Band of the Grenadier Guards. I am passionate about music and believe that every student is unique and has their own learning style and goals. I strive to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves through music.

Tutoring Experience:

I have over 16 years experience in British Army Music and currently play as part of the trumpet/cornet section in the Band of the Grenadier Guards, having studied at the Royal Military School of Music, Kneller Hall. I regularly perform as part of the band on state ceremonial occasions and have performed on major events including the Platinum Jubilee, Queen Elizabeth ii's funeral and the King's Coronation as well as other high profile events. I am passionate about sharing musical knowledge and helping students reach their full potential in a fun and enjoyable way, whether that be to work towards grade exams or simply for the enjoyment of music.
