Personal Description:
I have played at the highest professional levels in piping. Winning every major championship in Grade 1. Over 40 years experience in teaching and piping
Tutoring Experience:
I have successfully taught players from beginner to developing advanced player, allowing them to compete at the highest level. Coached individuals and bands in both musicality, technique and sound production.
I have taught bands and individuals, either in person or on line across England, Scotland and North America.
Tutoring Approach:
My preferred style is to find what works for the individual. The essence of teaching in my view, is not what works for the teacher, but to find a way of bringing out what you want in the individual, finding a teaching or coaching style that does that. I can teach either face to face or on line platforms, sometimes finding a mix and match approach is needed.
