I am a pianist who earned my Bachelor of Music in piano performance at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.
Currently, I am undertaking a Master of Performance at the Royal College of Music.
I worked as a private piano teacher and accompanist for four years in the UK. During the past four years, I was happy to see many students achieve their goals and grades. I enjoy teaching students from all levels, as well as students of all ages. I worked with students who are taking grading exams such as ABRSM, Trinity, etc… and many of them got good results. I am also enjoying teach beginners and happy to help them start the first step with piano playing. Whether you want to have some fun with piano as a young student or you would like to experience some piano learning as an amateur adult. I could also help you prepare for music exams such as ABRSM, Trinity, etc. Moreover, we could discuss what you would like to achieve or what you would like the lesson to be planned and work the best together.
I speak Mandarin Chinese and English. After four years of study in the UK, I am fluent in English speaking. Speaking two languages has helped me be more understanding towards the diversity of communication. The piano lesson can be taught in English or Chinese, which I had a lot of experience in the past.
The lesson can be taught in your place; feel free to contact me for a trial lesson, and let's enjoy the music while learning.
The tuition fee will be 30 mins , 45 mins and 60 mins
I could also work as an accompanist. If you are looking for an accompanist for your exam, performance or practice, Don't hesitate to contact me for a trial too.
I used to work in a music organization from 2014-2015 in Taiwan; at the time, I had been teaching many beginners from age 7 to 15. In the UK, I have been helping students pass the ABRSM grades exam. Apart from an exam, I am also like to inspire students to enjoy instrumental playing.
I fully understand how difficult to start to learn an instrument, especially to learn the piano. As a beginner, he needs to learn how to develop musicianship and practice do different things simultaneously with his ten fingers. So, to be a music teacher, it is essential to be passionate and engage people's interests and try to be inspiring.
