Personal Description:

I am a friendly, professional and highly motivated teacher, offering carefully tailored sessions to meet your individual needs. I have over 20 years professional performing experience in contemporary music, which has proved invaluable when coaching. To support my experience I hold Grade 8 LCM Pop Vocals with Distinction and have received Estill Voice Training to Advanced Level.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been passionate about music and singing for many years and have received coaching from leading vocal practitioners. This, combined with years of experience in performing means I can help in many areas such as vocal development, professionals with persistent vocal issues, confidence, microphone technique, getting started in a professional capacity, to name just a few. My training enables me to teach all styles, though I specialise in contemporary, pop, rock, soul, jazz and blues genres.

Much of my training, based on scientific research, which allows me to offer you most up to date teaching methods, in addition to gaining knowledge and understanding of how the voice works. My study has included changes the voice undergoes through adolescence and vocal health. I've completed Estill Voice Training to Advanced Level as recognised by most leading vocal coaches.

Tutoring Approach:

My studio is set up with recording facilities, full PA equipment and microphones for those wishing to fine tune performing skills plus the option of studying towards exams.
