Personal Description:

Hi, my name is Christina. My cello career started 39 years ago, when- at the age of 5- I had my first cello lesson in London. Later I lived in Switzerland and in Holland, where I did my Bachelor's and Master's degree at the conservatory in Amsterdam. That's also when I started giving cello lessons.

Tutoring Experience:

The last 20 years I have developped a lot of experience teaching children and adults (5-78 years old) at all levels. I value continuous professional development and am learning new methods and strategies that enhance my teaching style.
I have a working knowledge of the grade system and like the way it encourages learners and tracks their progress.

Tutoring Approach:

My aim as a teacher is to support every student in his or her own dream. Whether it is playing in an orchestra, with friends, to learn how to make a beautiful sound or to learn to play your fovourite piece… It's up to you!
During my lessons I often use pieces for 2 cello's. It's more fun to play together. And you can do it right from the beginning! All age groups are welcome. It's never too late to start playing the cello.
