Personal Description:
Florence is currently based in London Borough of Sutton, offering different music lessons including piano, voice and music theory.
Florence received her Master of Music in Choral Conducting at San Francisco State University under scholarship, where she was studying choral conducting with Dr. Joshua Habermann, having vocal training with Catherine Cook in the San Francisco Conservatory of Music as principle study. Passionate about French culture, philosophy and music, in 2016 Florence finished a Ph.D. of Musicology and Choral Conducting, with research on the culture and music environment around the early 20th Century France.
As a music educator, she worked as a coach at Opera Hong Kong Children’s Chorus, the Hong Kong Children’s Choir, school choirs, church choirs, and early childhood music centres. In the past years, She served as the music director of the Hong Kong Youth Choir, choir conductor of Hong Kong Baptist University Women’s Chorus, the Hong Kong International Institute of Music and the Diocesan Boy’s School.
Florence is actively performing as a choral conductor with diverse repertoire, her choral production was broadcasted by one of the leading classical music channels **Web Address Removed** in 2018. She also appears in performances as a vocalist in both classical and non-classical music events. Working in Hong Kong in the past decade, Florence strives for creative presentation in music. In the past few years from 2014-2019, she has been producing concerts of collaborative arts at Le French May art festival in Hong Kong.

Dedicated choral conductor, soprano, and concert producer for over 10 years, hosting weekly rehearsals, vocal training, diction coaching, and performances for choirs from age 6-25.
