I teach the violin and piano part time within Birmingham Music Service, King Henry VIII School in Coventry and privately at my home. Lessons focus on good technique and learning stimulating and fun repertoire. I enjoy helping young people to fulfil their potential and working with them to achieve their goals. I use the ABRSM exam system, which is a really rewarding and motivates practice. I have an excellent track record with a 100% rate. I teach all levels from complete beginner to advanced grade 8 and beyond.
I have enhanced CRB clearance.
I enjoy teaching across different age groups in a classic and energetic style incorporating all the vital areas of playing.
I also like to encourage the use of Alexander technique in my lessons, which is so important for long term posture.
Music is a joy to teach and learn.
