Charlie - Maths & Piano Tutor

Competitively priced 30 minute or 1 hour lessons in the comfort of your own home, covering areas within a 10 mile radius, including Runcorn, Widnes and Frodsham.

Mathematicians are boring and Pianists are geeks. Both these things are wrong in my case (mostly).

Since the age of 6, I have had a passion for maths and music, and I have continued studying both ever since.

Achieved Grade 8 Piano and I am working towards a ARSM Diploma and Grade 8 Saxophone.

Currently studying Maths at Chester University and I am hoping to take this to Masters or Doctora**Contact Detail Removed**vel.

With experience working in schools and being DBS Checked, I offer Maths and Piano tuition to learners at a wide range of levels and to ages from 7 and above.

Tutoring Experience:

I have worked with on work experience in schools in Rainhill where I stepped in as a TA where the substitute teacher had no knowledge of mathematics. As such I was tasked with teaching and answering questions on the mathematics involved.

I have also worked on numerous outreach programs with the University of Chester.

Tutoring Approach:

Music tuition is always personalised to the student. I will try and make every lesson interesting and different especially for beginners and try to give them as much support as I can to accelerate there learning. I will start with music theory relatively early as well as teaching the basics of the piano to give the student a full understanding of music.
