Personal Description:

Hi! My name's Charlie, and I am a music degree holding instrumental tutor living in the Leeds area. I have been playing music since the age of nine, and over this time have perfected my craft and developed a passion to pass it on to new musicians! Music has taken me all across Europe with various different bands and orchestras, e.g. Berlin with the University of Nottingham's Wind Orchestra, or Paris with my school Jazz band! Under my tutelage, I hope to develop your or your child's ability to the level you desire at a pace that's right for you so that you too can go out into the wide world of music and experience it for yourself! I look forward to hearing from you.

Tutoring Experience:

1 year piano and trombone tuition for hobby students whilst studying at University.

1 Year music seminar leading as the president of the university songwriting society.

2 years teaching experience for pupils in and around the Cardiff area at varying levels of difficulty and age (listed below);
1 beginner adult aged 35
1 intermediate adult pupil aged 75
4 beginner children between the ages of 4 and 13

Tutoring Approach:

I believe in a fun and friendly approach to learning. After pinpointing what you want for yourself or your child from the coming lessons, we'll approach the content at your pace in easily digestible sections, ticking off your goals one by one until you're ready to advance, or take some examinations if that's what you'd like.
