Personal Description:

I have been playing the drums for the last 12 years, I have done my own tutoring and played in numerous bands across this time period across london, buckinghamshire and the Isle of Wight Festival. As my niche Grades show i am heavily practiced in the popular culture area of drums and percussion as i believe the expression and improvisation of drums draws straight from the rock and pop genres.

Tutoring Experience:

I have taught family friends to a casual standard but looking to expand to gain a more consistent client base.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe the most important thing with teaching is patience, the ability to allow a tutee the time to learn a new skill from scratch blended with encouragement and praise is a recipe for any great lesson. Obviously every lesson has to be fun because without enjoyment for the drums theres no drive to want to learn so a break down of lessons with a beginning middle and end is key to organise improvisation and flare time at the end.
