Cettina (Catania, Italy, 1988) started learning piano aged six and in 1997 entered the Conservatoire “V. Bellini”, Catania, where she obtained her diploma in 2007, passing with top marks and summa cum laude. Drawing attention on herself by winning several piano competitions, both national and international, she honed even further her skills studying with important teachers such as M. Marvulli, A. Delle Vigne, P. Gililov, S. Gadjiev, E. Pace etc. She also performed in several piano concertos and recitals in prestigious halls throughout the world, e. g. Steinway Hall (New York), Wiener Saal (Salzburg), Parco della Musica (Rome), Orsanmichele Church (Florence), Sala Puccini and Gaber Auditorium (Milan) etc. - see, e. g… **Web Address Removed** or **Web Address Removed** In February 2010 she obtained the Interpretation and Composition Piano Master with top marks and summa cum laude in the Institute of Superior Music Study ”G. B. Pergolesi” of Ancona. In June 2012 she obtained the Piano Master in the S. Cecilia Music Academy in Rome as student of M°° Sergio Perticaroli and Stefano Fiuzzi.

Tutoring Experience:

Cettina achieved a vast experience in private tuition by teaching to several piano students (aged from 6 to 75 years old) both in Italy and in the UK. From September 2012 to August 2014 she was employed in Italian public education system working as a secondary school teacher in the Venice area. In July 2015 she obtained her TFA, the Italian equivalent of the Qualified Teacher Status.

Tutoring Approach:

Piano lessons are available to pupils of all ages and abilities: from children starting out on their musical journey, to adult beginners hoping to develop their interest in piano or even pupils returning to music after a break.
Moreover, piano lessons are available to students who would like to take exams with all the major music examination boards (ABRSM, Trinity and LCM).
