Enthusiastic, patient and supportive teacher. All ages and abilities welcome.
Tutoring Experience:
I have been teaching the flute for more than 12 years now. I began playing the flute at the age of 9 and it has always been a part of my life!
Tutoring Approach:
I aim to help you unlock your potential as a musician and flautist and to make lessons enjoyable and motivating. I am happy to help you prepare for music grade exams, or to enjoy learning and playing the instrument for your own pleasure.

CarolFrom Linda (5/5): I am an adult beginner on the recorder, but with some musical experience. Carol is a great teacher, patient and understanding. Although the recorder is not her first instrument, which is flute, her technical and musical knowledge is excellent. Carol is good at working through the tricky bits, she is methodical in her approach and also flexible to individual needs. Welcoming and easy to get along with, Carol puts a lot of work into preparing lessons and suggesting music to play. Highly recommended.

From Klaus (/5): Carol was a excellent teacher for our son and his girlfriend (both 13 years old). She was motivating both extremley good, was very prepared and structured. Over all excellent!!!!

It was really enjoyable and I wish them both well with their English studies at school this year and in the future and I hope that their stay in Brighton (together with the English lessons) will have given them more confidence in their own ability to communicate in a foreign language and shown them that learning can be fun and interesting too.
