Personal Description:

I am a concert pianist and have appeared on Sky TV and talked on BBC Radio Norfolk. I was also the pianist in residence at Park House, Sandringham, Norfolk. I have given numerous recitals and have gained a vast amount of knowledge in performance techniques. I am also a published composer and have written many works, primarily for the piano but also a guitar sonata and pieces for flute and piano, as well as a piano concerto.

Tutoring Experience:

I have over 20 years' teaching experience. I have encompassed all standards from beginners to performance diploma level on the piano. I have also taught classical guitar up to Grade 8.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that the most important thing about learning is enjoyment and I use humour in my lessons. At higher levels, I use psychology extensively to improve my pupils' techniques.
