Information About Bill - Newent teacher - (3 reviews)
This is how 2 referees rated Bill:
Bill offers a FREE first / introductory lesson!
I have a lifetime's experience in classical music with some London Guildhall training. Currently I am leader of the Newent Orchestra and enjoy playing chamber music, too.
I have a music studio in Newent. I offer one-to-one lessons at my studio or online lessons. I regularly publish short videos on Youtube, 'Practice Tips for Violin', which I use as support material for lessons.
I have many years experience successfully teaching individuals from beginners to advanced.
In the first instance, I'm guided by the student's aims, which might, for example, be just to play a favourite piece of music well. For more formal tuition, I use the ABRSM syllabus for grade students.
I use the Doflein method for non-grade students. This system (complete beginners to advanced skills) is in the form of duets so I can accompany my pupils while developing their technique and ability. Nervous pupils catered for!
My teaching method is friendly and informal and will certainly achieve the very best results.
