Personal Description:
I'm a 31-year-old teaching assistant. I'm calm, patient and friendly. I can teach academic subjects and sports, as well as piano and guitar.
Tutoring Experience:
In addition to working as a teaching assistant Burlington Junior School, I was a full-time tutor and EFL (English) teacher for a year in Ireland before circumstances brought me back to London. I have tutored Maths, Physics, piano, guitar and English to children as young as 4, secondary school students, and adults
Tutoring Approach:
I recognise not everybody learns in the same way, so I'm flexible to teaching the topics and in the style requested by the student (or parents). With beginners I feel the most important thing is that they do not give up during through the difficult early months of learning, so I try to make learning as enjoyable as possible by teaching them tunes they are familiar with and easy harmonies.
