Personal Description:

I'm an experienced professional drummer and musician based in South London. I hold a first class honours degree (BMus) and a Masters (Mmus) in Popular music, from Goldsmiths, University of London. I write, perform and record regularly with many bands and have skills and knowledge in a wide range of styles including jazz, latin, rock, pop, electronic and everything in between.
I love teaching and sharing the skills that I've learned from some brilliant drum tutors over the years. I am a friendly and accommodating tutor with a fun teaching style and I am always keen to meet new and enthusiastic students.

Tutoring Experience:

I have many years experience teaching individual and group drum kit and percussion lessons. I have worked with both adults and children of all abilities and enjoy working with all enthusiastic students.
I also work as a tutor for an arts education charity teaching music and drama to large classes in schools as well as training new tutors. I also facilitate music sessions for adults with physical and learning disabilities.

Tutoring Approach:

I am an enthusiastic, fun and patient tutor willing to teach all ages and abilities. My teaching style is flexible and I can adapt to suit each student's needs. I believe that enjoyment is an incredibly important part of the teaching process. I have a wide ranging knowledge of musical styles from jazz and latin drumming to heavy rock and funk. Whether you want to learn to play to a high standard or just for fun and relaxation, I am willing to accommodate and confident that I can meet your needs.
