Personal Description:
Ben is an experienced and engaging Brass teacher based in Broadstairs on the Kent coast.
Ben graduated on Trombone from the Royal Academy of Music in 2006, with a Batchelors Degree in Music performance and an LRAM diploma in Brass Teaching. Much of his teaching is inspired from those he learnt with himself during his education such as Denis Wick, Ian Bousfield, Dudley Bright and James Watson among others but has created his own unique style to teaching through his subsequent experience and is always finding new ways to engage students and move with the times.
Ben currently teaches in various schools around East Kent and also provides individual lessons during evenings and weekends.
Ben remains an active professional freelance performer, performing throughout the UK and abroad in orchestras, bands, brass groups and rock/pop bands.
Previous pupils have gone on to study music at some of the UKs top music colleges and universities.
