Personal Description:

Hi my names Ben and I've been a professional musician for 12 years. I have done teaching, gigging and session work over the last decade and offer a relaxed and informal lesson.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been teaching for 12 years on various instruments. This includes helping school and college student achieving grades in practical and theory, as well as teaching people who wish guitar to be a hobby. My teaching covers all music forms, from jazz to metal and still follow a strict practice regime myself.

Tutoring Approach:

I like my lesson to be relaxed, without putting the student under to much pressure. I like to make sure that 50 percent of the time we are doing what the student wants to do, whist the other 50 percent we are doing what has to be done, which would be the scales and theory. The standard of most musicians today is very high and a we all need a good working knowledge of how music works.
