Personal Description:
I am a father of two (Holly & Ruben) and have a lifelong passin for performing and composing music. I play in a jazz band, a rock covers band and an irish folk group as well as teaching music technology to 'A' level and Btec students at some local upper schools. I own 'The Sound Garage' and am the author of the best-selling tutor book 'Play Drumkit, Timpani & Percussion'.
Tutoring Experience:
I have over 15 years expe.rience as a music teacher and a professional musician. I have been a studio engineer and Head of Percussion, Guitars & Keyboards for Bedfordshire Music.
Tutoring Approach:
I enjoy making music and believe that music should always be fun. It is important nowerdays to use and include lots of modern music as well as teaching notation and giving students the skills that they will need if they were to take the instrument further.
