Personal Description:

Belinda ; lecturer, choreographer, dance artist, researcher and musician was born and brought up in South Africa. After moving to the UK 18 years ago she has Belinda ; lecturer, choreographer, dance artist, researcher and musician was born and brought up in South Africa. After moving to the UK 18 years ago she has worked across the country on a diverse array of projects in settings that include film/media, large scale site-specific collaborations, theatrical productions and education. She currently works as a lecturer and course leader for the BA (Hons) Dance and Performance at the Arden School of Theatre. She is also a national examiner for dance and performing arts, and works as a freelance yoga, aerial yoga, aerial hammock and piano teacher and in her Final year of a practice-led PhD at Huddersfield University.
She's been teaching private piano and keyboard lessons since 2012 and has an impressive track record of a 100% student pass rate across ABRSM and Trinity exam boards.

Tutoring Experience:

Belinda has been teaching since 2004, and during this time has worked in private studios, community groups, young people, school, colleges, and universities. She's been teaching private music classes since 2012.

Tutoring Approach:

Largely student led and working to find joy, individuality, confidence, and interest throughout the learning process, regardless of your age or experience. Music really is for everyone.
