Personal Description:

Hello, my name is Becca and I am a professional drummer and drum kit tutor. I regularly perform with function bands, big bands, solo artists and theatre productions companies, which has enabled me to perform and teach a variety styles and genres of music. I actively take on challenging projects to better myself as a player, and expand my knowledge as a teacher. My performing experience includes a range of festivals such as the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and private events for clients such as Iron Maiden.

Tutoring Experience:

I currently teach in schools and privately in my own studio or online via Zoom. I teach a range of ages and abilities.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that a fun, relaxed and informative approach to every lesson is key. Lessons are engaging and tailored to individual needs, and structured to help recognise any strengths and areas for improvement, in order to develop each student’s ability in a motivating way. Students are encouraged to fulfil their highest potential, be it through grade examinations or other personal goals. Above all, lessons will enable every student to enjoy playing and learning the drum kit through various styles and techniques that you discover along the way.
