Personal Description:
I have over 30 years’ experience of playing, teaching, performing and servicing/repairing. My main instrument is the oboe (including oboe d’amore, cor anglais, bass oboe and musette). I also teach the recorder, flute and saxophone.
I teach all ages and standards, both in person and online.

I have taught since 1991 and have a comprehensive approach including practical and theory.

Tutoring Approach:
My approach to music tuition is largely driven by the requirements and progress of my pupils. I favour a structured approach following the grade syllabuses of one or other music examination board, whether or not my pupils choose to take the exams. I maintain flexibility however, listening to my pupils’ wishes.
