Personal Description:
I am a professional lutenist and guitarist who has performed and recorded with some of the leading ensembles of early music. I studied at the Royal College of Music, gaining an Artist Diploma, as well as a Bachelor's and a Master of Music degree.
Tutoring Experience:
I have taught students for more than a decade, both with the Royal College of Music teaching service, and privately, from complete beginners to advanced students of all ages.
Tutoring Approach:
I am a friendly, calm teacher, interested in helping students to progress as easily and efficiently as possible, offering guidance on how to practice, how best to improve their playing and musicianship, and offering encouragement and motivation on their musical journey.
