Information About Audrey - Stratford-upon-Avon teacher

Personal Description:

I have been a professional harpist all my working life and have worked with lots of well known orchestras opera and theatre companies. As part of Phoenix flute and harp duo I travelled throughout the UK performing for school children in schools galleries and museums for 20 years. I currently specialise in playing solo for corporate events weddings and for charitable groups and clubs.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been teaching the harp for 40 years and have a wealth of experience working with students of all ages and abilities. I currently teach privately in my own home but have previously taught in several private schools including Oakham Uppingham Malvern St James and at Birmingham Conservatoire. Several of my past students are now professional harpists.

Tutoring Approach:

I teach on a one to one basis in an informal style but with a strong focus on building a good technique. This is vital as it enables one to play for fun or to a high level. I make the lessons enjoyable and motivational.
As well as individual lessons I run an ensemble for adult pupils which meets once a month.
i am able to offer online lessons using Zoom.
