Personal Description:
I am a Violinist and teacher living in Welwyn and working in both the Welwyn and St Albans areas. I have 10 years of teaching experience that includes schools, both public and private, tuition for youth orchestras and private home tuition where I have taught violin, viola, piano, music theory, composition and prepared students for the 11+ Musical Aptitude Test. I have an engaging and highly energetic approach to musical education whilst still maintaining a traditional focus, with each lesson involving aural training, theory work and contextual knowledge.
Tutoring Experience:
Peripatetic teaching in public and private schools as well as private home tuition. I have also provided tuition for youth orchestras. I have a Bachelors degree in music hold a fully enhanced CRB check.
Tutoring Approach:
Fun and enthusiastic but hard-working. Can either work through the ABRSM/Trinity grades or take a more flexible approach.
