Information About Anna - Bath teacher

Personal Description:

I am a professional violist and violin and viola teacher, living and working for many years in both Australia and the UK.

I began playing violin and piano at the age of 3, and music has been a part of my whole life. During my Bachelor's degree I switched to viola as my primary instrument.

I have performed professionally in many ensembles, from Symphony Orchestra to chamber ensembles, and everything in between. I have also recorded for a number of pop artists, and played for rock concerts. i love all styles of music!

Tutoring Experience:

I have been teaching for over 20 years, in schools and a home studio, in the UK and Australia. I love teaching all students young and old, and enjoy tailoring lessons to my students requirements. I can help with exam preparation, audition preparation, or just playing for fun.

Tutoring Approach:

I strongly believe music should be both fun and challenging, and that anyone can enjoy learning an instrument.

I always aim to tailor my lessons to my students personal goals, and try to make this fun and engaging. I often play along during lessons, or play duets with my students.

I also offer extra recordings and resources to all my students to play along with at home.
