Personal Description:

Anna-Madleen, born in Tallinn, Estonia completed her undergraduate studies with a Bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance in the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre (2016). She then continued her studies in the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland graduating with an MMus in Piano Performance (2018) and an MMus in Piano for Dance (2020).
She has taken part in many masterclasses by Aaron Shorr, Fali Pavri, Jekaterina Murina, Steven Osbourne, Robert Levin and regularly plays as accompanist and soloist for chamber projects, concerts and competitions.
Anna-Madleen has made numerous appearances as a pianist performing with the elite Scottish contemporary music ensemble Red Note and she is in regular demand as an accompanist for choirs, singers and instrumentalists and as a ballet accompanist for Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and Scottish Ballet.

Tutoring Experience:

Anna-Madleen has an extensive teaching experience with students of all age ranges and has a 100% pass-rate of students’ examinations (ABRSM, ARSM, Rockschool) both in practical and theory.
She is currently teaching privately all around Glasgow and also offers piano and theory lessons online.

Tutoring Approach:

Anna-Madleen’s ethos is on empathy and eliciting and giving empowerment to the students by developing their confidence. She appreciates every students individuality and musical background and approaches it sensitively and with a strategic lesson plan. Anna-Madleen incourages all-round musicianship in students focusing on aural skills, sight reading and enjoyment of music.
