Personal Description:

As the daughter of esteemed artist parents, my musical journey commenced at a tender age. At the age of seven, I was nominated by the Hubay National Violin Competition as one of five young musicians to be considered for the coveted violin performance award. Fortunately, my successful rendition of Antonio Vivaldi's concerto in G-major secured my name a spot on the esteemed list of nominees.

My inquisitive nature and unwavering passion for music prompted me to participate in an international competition in 2010. It was at this competition that I was awarded the distinguished title of "the best classical violinist," and subsequently invited to pursue my performance degree at the Conservatory as a young musician. Upon graduating, I was offered a remarkable role at the National Theatre, which was a testament to my exceptional musical abilities.

In 2018, I was presented with a scholarship opportunity from the University in Oxford to further my studies at the Conservatory of Queensland, Australia. During my time there, I honed my skills and developed a mastery of the finest classical proficiencies. This was evidenced by my ability to perform concertos at the degree level as a soloist with the university orchestras, solidifying my status as a top-tier classical musician.

Tutoring Experience:

As a professional violin teacher with a focus on Suzuki and ABRSM teaching methods, I prioritise developing strong right-hand technique and maintaining excellent posture to achieve the best results. My approach to tutoring involves tailoring lessons to the individual needs and goals of each student.

As a qualified tutor, I hold a conservatory graduate degree and a BA (Hons) degree, with over 20 years of study in Europe and the UK. I have been teaching privately since 2018, working with students of all ages and levels, from 3-year-olds to adults up to age 70. My lessons are designed to cater to beginners up to Grade 8 level, providing a comprehensive and structured curriculum to help students achieve their musical goals.

Tutoring Approach:

During lessons, I use a combination of demonstrations, exercises, and repertoire to help students build their skills and musicality. I emphasise the importance of regular practice and provide guidance on effective practice techniques to maximise progress. I also encourage creativity and expression in music-making, while fostering a deep understanding of music theory and appreciation for different musical styles.

The length of lessons typically varies depending on the level and requirements of the student, ranging from 45 minutes to 90 minutes. I believe in creating a positive and nurturing learning environment where students feel comfortable to express themselves and ask questions.
