Personal Description:
I am a professional harpist and have just graduated from the Royal Northern College of Music in 2023 with first class honours and with the Musicales Prize. I studied with Eira Lynn Jones and Dr Anne-Marie O’Farrell, and was previously a member of Junior RNCM, where I was awarded the Rotary Prize for Performance and the John Ellis Memorial Prize.
Tutoring Experience:
I’ve been a private harp, piano, and mathematics tutor for many years and now teach the harp at Crompton House School. I’ve worked with organisations such as the National Children’s Orchestra and Liverpool Philharmonic Youth Orchestra as well as assisting and leading workshops with RNCM Young Harps.
Tutoring Approach:
I enjoy helping people achieve goals they never thought they could while playing the harp. I believe that a strong foundation is necessary to achieve creative freedom, which is ultimately what I want for my students.
