Personal Description:
Born in Hong Kong, Pui-Yee Angela is currently studying at the Royal College of Music, London with Gordon Fergus-Thompson and formerly with Ruth Nye. She has performed at Windsor Parish Church, Burgh House of Hampstead, Pushkin House, St. Bride’s Church, St. Mary Abbots Church, St. John’s Church, Holy Trinity Church in Stratford-upon-Avon and the Amaryllis Fleming Concert Hall. Angela has been selected to play in the masterclass with Geoffrey Pratley, Andrew West, Patsy Toh, Chiao-ying Chang and Tra Nguyen as well as awarded a scholarship to study with Artur Pizarro at Musical Odyssey Masterclass in Nafplio, Greece. She has recently became the winner of Woking Young Musician of the Year 2017 and also a prize winner in Hong Kong Schools Music Festival. Future engagements include concerto performance with Woking Symphony Orchestra in the coming season.

I have experience on private one-to-one teaching back at Hong Kong as well as in the UK.
Tutoring Approach:
I have a strong passion for music teaching. I am friendly and patient towards my students. During lessons, I especially like to interact and challenge my students in order for them to build up their own musical ideas.
