Personal Description:

Guitar has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember—my passion for it started when I was just 3 years old. I began taking it seriously by the age of 5, and now with 27 years of playing experience, it’s safe to say the instrument has shaped who I am both personally and professionally.
Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to share my playing with a wider audience through platforms like **Contact Detail Removed** and **Contact Detail Removed**, where I regularly post guitar content. This journey has led to some exciting collaborations, including working with respected brands like BOSS, and connecting with a global community of fellow musicians and fans.
Before focusing on teaching, I spent years performing live and was lucky enough to travel while doing what I love—highlights include playing for a pop artist in Los Angeles in 2016 and performing at Glastonbury Festival. Now, I’m passionate about helping others discover the joy of playing guitar, whether you're just getting started or looking to take your skills to the next level.

Tutoring Experience:

I've been teaching private guitar lessons for over 12 years, covering both acoustic and electric guitar across a wide range of styles and skill levels. Whether you're aiming to master chords, explore lead guitar, or just strum along to your favourite songs, I tailor every lesson to suit each student's goals and interests. Some of my students come in with big ambitions, while others just want to enjoy the journey—and both are equally welcome.
I regularly prepare students for graded guitar exams and have proudly maintained a 100% pass rate. That said, not every student wants to follow the exam route, and I also offer casual lessons for those who prefer a more relaxed and creative approach. Guitar should always be fun, and my aim is to keep students motivated, progressing, and enjoying themselves—whether they’re playing scales or learning their favourite riffs.
I work with students of all ages, from enthusiastic 5-year-olds just starting out, to adults picking up the guitar for the first time in retirement. It’s never too early or too late to start playing. I’ve also spent the past 5 years teaching guitar in a London secondary school, so I’m well-versed in engaging young learners and helping them build both skill and confidence.
Lessons are available online **E-mail Address Removed**Meet or FaceTime, and honestly, it works just as well as in-person—if I can see the student and their guitar, we’re good to go! For those local to me, I also offer in-person lessons where I travel to the student, depending on location and schedule. Whether it’s online or face-to-face, I make the process easy, flexible, and focused on what the student wants to get out of their playing.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach to teaching guitar is simple: every student is different, so every lesson should be too. I tailor each session to suit the individual—whether that means moving at a steady, comfortable pace or pushing a bit harder when someone’s ready for more. There’s no one-size-fits-all method here. The goal is always to build a solid foundation while keeping the learning process fun, clear, and rewarding.
A big part of what keeps students motivated is working towards the kind of music they actually enjoy. So whether you're into classic rock, acoustic singer-songwriter tunes, metal, pop, or anything in between, I’ll help you learn the songs and styles that inspire you. It’s about making progress while staying connected to the music that made you want to pick up the guitar in the first place.
