Personal Description:
***CURRENTLY OFFERING ONLINE TUITION/PIANO LESSONS VIA ZOOM***
I am currently the Head of Music at St.Augustine Academy, Maidstone and am also a professional pianist and Musical Director for various Film, TV and Theatrical Production companies. I am based in Greenhithe but work in Maidstone throughout the week. I am fully qualified with a PGCE in Secondary Music and teach all levels and ages.
Tutoring Experience:
I have taught in many schools in the South East of England and most recently was the Head of Music at The East London Science School in Stratford, London.
I taught one to one piano, singing, drama and music theory at The Hastings Stage Studio for 4 years.
I was also the Musical Director for many productions for the Scottish Youth Theatre - the National Youth Theatre for Scotland.
Tutoring Approach:
Each student learns in a different way and it is my job to ensure that I can adapt my teaching style to suit each of my students. I am used to explaining concepts in different ways from visual to aural to written comprehension tasks.
